The construction of the new pool is coming along nicely. If you drive by on Delaware Avenue, you can clearly see the bleachers. Here's a slightly older picture that shows the bleachers, but it isn't as obvious. Look for the step patterns in the concrete.
The team produced 23 individual best times of 32 individual swims and took 6th of 13 teams at the Section 4A Championship. Diver Annika Overvig and swimmer Avery Vogen qualified for the MSHSL State Meet.
The team produced 21 individual best times of 30 individual swims at the 2019 Metro East Conference Championships, taking 4th out of 8 teams.
The ground has been broken for the new aquatic center!
A new aquatic center is part of the 2018 ISD 197 bond referendum. It will be located on the Henry Sibley High School Campus along Delaware Avenue. The new pool will be an 8-lane, 25 yard pool. The actually pool length will be about 40 or so yards…
On May 8, 2018 the ISD 197 district bond referendum passed. This referendum covers district-wide improvements to academics, arts, and athletics.
